Tips for Making Loaded Venison Sweet Potatoes

  1. No matter which variation of sweet potato you choose, aim to pick a size where half of the potato is a good size for 1 person. This will of course vary depending on how much you eat.
  2. If you have an air fry mode on your oven use that to cook the sweet potatoes and if not, use convection. This will cook the potatoes from all around and give you that nice golden crisp bottom.
  3. With your ground venison or other ground game meat, I always recommend you have ate least 10-20% fat ground in with it. We do this by adding pork should to our ground, which adds flavour and helps keep the meat more juicy.
